अग्ने व्रतपते व्रतमुपैष्यामि तच्छकेयं तन्मे राध्यताम् । इदमहमृतात्सत्यमुपैमि ॥
agne vratapate vratamupaiṣyāmi tacchakeyaṃ tanme rādhyatām । idamahamṛtātsatyamupaimi ॥
अनुवाद: O Agni, Lord of sacred vows, I shall undertake the vow; may I be capable of it, may it succeed for me. Here I go from untruth to truth.
The seeker dedicates themselves to spiritual discipline under the guidance of Agni, moving away from falsehood towards ultimate truth.
