Yajurveda Adhyāya 2, Sūkta 26

मन्त्र 1

इयन्ते अग्ने समिधः प्रयोजोऽन्वग्निमाहिषो जातः पृथिव्याम् ।

iyante agne samidhaḥ prayojo'nvagnimāhiṣo jātaḥ pṛthivyām ।

अनुवाद: This is your fuel, O Agni, the prompt energy. The mighty Agni has been born along the earth.

The seeker offers fuel to the sacred fire, recognizing the birth of divine consciousness within the physical plane.

मन्त्र 2

स जुषस्व हविषा घृतेन नः सुप्रतीको विभावसुः ।

sa juṣasva haviṣā ghṛtena naḥ supratīko vibhāvasuḥ ।

अनुवाद: May he, radiant and bright-faced, accept our oblation of clarified butter.

An invocation for the divine fire to partake in the offering of purity and clarity, illuminating the mind.
