अग्निं होतािं वृणीमहे होताारं विश्ववेहसम्। अस्य यज्ञस्य सुक्रतुम्॥
agniṃ hotāraṃ vṛṇīmahe hotāraṃ viśvavedasam। asya yajñasya sukratum॥
अनुवाद: We choose Agni as the priest, the knower of all things, the one of excellent will in this sacrifice.
We invoke the inner divine flame of consciousness as our primary guide and mediator for spiritual elevation.
तमीमहे महामघं होताारं विश्ववेहसम्। अस्य यज्ञस्य सुक्रतुम्॥
tamīmahe mahāmaghaṃ hotāraṃ viśvavedasam। asya yajñasya sukratum॥
अनुवाद: Him we entreat, the possessor of great wealth, the priest, the knower of all things, of excellent will in this sacrifice.
We pray to this divine light who bestows spiritual riches and guides our sacred inner transformation.
