Rigveda Mandala 2 Sukta 32

मन्त्र 1

सु॒भगां॑ सु॒नेत्रां॒ प्रिये॒धसं॑ स्तुषे॒ महीं॒ च श॒र्मादि॑तिं सु॒नीती॑म् । अ॒र्वाञ्ची॑ नूनम्व॒सुप॑त्नी॒ स्तुषे॒ सिनी॑वालि॒ सुहु॑ता॒ हव्या॑दा॒त् ॥

subhagāṁ sunetrāṁ priyedhasaṁ stuṣe mahīṁ ca śarmāditiṁ sunītīm | arvāñcī nūnamvasupatnī stuṣe sinīvāli suhutā havyādāt ||

अनुवाद: I praise the auspicious, well-leading, dear-offering-bearing, great, protective, and well-guiding Aditi, and Sinivalli, the possessor of wealth, who comes hither to accept our well-offered oblations.

The Rishi praises the divine forces of auspiciousness and guidance, asking for their protective presence and gracious acceptance of sacrifices.

मन्त्र 2

या ते॑ सिनीवालि॒ या गु॒ङ्गुर्या रा॒का या कु॒हूः स॒नीति॑श्च॒ प्रिये॒धसा॑ स्तुषे॒ महीं॒ च श॒र्मादि॑तिं सु॒नीती॑म् ॥

yā te sinīvāli yā guṅguryā rākā yā kuhūḥ sanītiśca priyedhasaṁ stuṣe mahīṁ ca śarmāditiṁ sunītīm ||

अनुवाद: O Sinivalli, whatever names belong to thee—Guṅgu, Rākā, Kuhū, and Sanīti—I praise them all along with the great Aditi.

The different phases and manifestations of the divine feminine power associated with the lunar cycle are invoked to grant prosperity and peace.
