प्र वो महांतो मरुतो महांऽअवसे गन्मन्त्सुवृतीरथेषवः। वृधे च नो बभूविरे बृहन्नमसा विप्रैर्नमसा युञ्ज्महे गिरा॥
pra vo mahāṁto maruto mahāṁ'avase ganmantsuvṛtīratheṣavaḥ। vṛdhe ca no babhūvire bṛhannamasā viprairnamasā yuñjmahe girā॥
अनुवाद: May the great Maruts, possessing well-turning chariots and swift arrows, come great to our protection. They have become great for our growth. We join [them] with great reverence, with the praise of the wise.
The rishi invokes the Maruts, the storm deities representing vital life forces and divine inspiration, asking for their powerful presence and protection.
