Indra Sukta - Rigveda Mandala 2 Sukta 13

मन्त्र 1

यः जातः एव प्रथमो मनस्वान् देवो देवान् क्रतुना पर्यभूषत् । यस्य शुष्कात् रोदसी अभ्यसेताम् नृम्णस्य मम्ना महिना स जनसः ॥

yaḥ jātaḥ eva prathamo manasvān devo devān kratunā paryabhūṣat । yasya śuṣkāt rodasī abhyasetām nṛmṇasya mamnā mahinā sa janasaḥ ॥

अनुवाद: He who, born first, intelligent, a god, surpassed the gods by his might; by whose greatness the two worlds trembled through his power and glory—he, O men, is Indra.

Indra is described as the supreme primal deity who surpasses all through his infinite consciousness and power, causing the heaven and earth to tremble in awe of his might.

मन्त्र 2

यो विश्वं प्रबण्ये तस्थिवांसं महीं दृंहत् पृथिवीम् अच्युतेतम् । यो अन्तरिक्षम् विममे वरीयो यो द्याम् अस्तभ्यात् स जनसः ॥

yo viśvaṃ prabaṇye tasthivāṃśaṃ mahīṃ dṛṃhat pṛthivīm acyutetam । yo antarikṣam vimame varīyo yo dyām astabhyāt sa janasaḥ ॥

अनुवाद: He who made firm the great unshakeable earth when it was trembling, who measured out the vast middle region (space), and who propped up the heaven—he, O men, is Indra.

Indra is the ultimate cosmic architect who stabilizes the physical plane, expands the atmosphere, and upholds the celestial spheres in cosmic order.
