Agni's Protective Grace and Cosmic Nourishment

मन्त्र 1

अग्निर्मूर्द्धा दिवः ककुत्पतिः पृथिव्या अयम् । अपां रेतांसि जिन्वति ॥

agnirmūrdhā divaḥ kakutpatiḥ pṛthivyā ayam । apāṃ retāṃsi jinvati ॥

अनुवाद: Agni is the head of heaven, the peak, the lord of the earth; he quickens the waters' seed.

Agni is praised as the supreme cosmic power that connects the celestial realms with the earthly plane, vitalizing all creation through life-giving waters.

मन्त्र 2

समिद्धो अग्ने दिवमा तनोति तेजो बृहत्यरुषस्य भानुः । तेन न पाहि सहसा ववृध्वाः स्वाहा ॥

samiddho agne divamā tanoti tejo bṛhatyaruṣasya bhānuḥ । tena na pāhi sahasā vavṛdhvāḥ svāhā ॥

अनुवाद: Kindled, O Agni, you extend to heaven the great splendor and light of the ruddy one. With that, O mighty one, protect us having grown great. Svaha.

The hymn describes the blazing fire expanding toward the heavens, whose radiance protects the devoted practitioners as it grows in power.
