Purification of the Oblation for Agni and Soma

मन्त्र 1

वाजश्च मे प्रसवश्च मे प्रयतिश्च मे प्रसितिश्च मे धीतिश्च मे क्रतुश्च मे स्वरश्च मे श्लोकश्च मे श्रावश्च मे श्रुतिश्च मे ॥

vājaś ca me prasavaś ca me prayatiś ca me prasitiś ca me dhītiś ca me kratuś ca me svaraś ca me ślokaś ca me śrāvaś ca me śrutiś ca me ॥

अनुवाद: Vigor is mine, and impulse is mine; striving is mine, and extension is mine; thought is mine, and will is mine; tone is mine, and song is mine; hearing is mine, and audition is mine.

This mantra invokes various mental, physical, and spiritual capacities as divine gifts, acknowledging that all aspects of human capability originate from the universal source.

मन्त्र 2

श्रावयते च मे समाश्च मे रथश्च मे रथर्षिश्च मे रथयुक् च मे रथन्युक् च मे रथप्रमुक् च मे रथक्षेपोऽतिरथश्च मे महारथश्च मे ॥

śrāvayate ca me samāś ca me rathaś ca me ratharṣiś ca me rathayuk ca me rathanyuk ca me rathapramuk ca me rathakṣepo'tirathaś ca me mahārathaś ca me ॥

अनुवाद: To him who causes to be heard is mine, years are mine, the chariot is mine, the chariot-seer is mine, the yoking of the chariot is mine, the unyoking is mine, the releasing is mine, the motion, the supreme warrior, and the great warrior are mine.

The seeker claims mastery over time, movement, and spiritual warfare represented by the chariot, integrating all worldly and spiritual vehicles of progress.
