आ याहि वीतये गृणानो हव्यदाताये । निचिक्युः सोमनं गिरा ॥
ā yāhi vītaye gṛṇāno havyadātāye । nicikyuḥ somanaṃ girā ॥
अनुवाद: Come hither for the feast, praised one, to distribute our oblations. They have recognized the pressed Soma by our song.
The Rishi invites the divine to accept the offerings accompanied by songs of praise.
जुषस्व नः सुमतिं विश्वदेवा आ याहि सोमपीतये । महि शर्म प्रयच्छ नः ॥
juṣasva naḥ sumatiṃ viśvadevā ā yāhi somapītaye । mahi śarma prayaccha naḥ ॥
अनुवाद: Enjoy our good thought, O All-Gods, come to drink the Soma, and bestow upon us great protection.
A prayer seeking the grace, acceptance of good intentions, and protection from all divine forces.
