प्र सु होतारमग्निं यज्ञेषु ववृधामनम् । होतारं विश्वचेतसम् ॥
pra su hōtāram agniṃ yajñēṣu vavṛdhānanam | hōtāraṃ viśvacētasam ||
अनुवाद: Forward indeed praise the Hotar Agni in sacrifices, the growing one, the priest who knows all things.
We invoke Agni, the divine priest of the sacrifice, who awakens all consciousness and grows through our sincere offerings.
तं त्वा घृतप्रतीक्ष्णमग्न आदित्यो न रोचते । दद्युरिव प्र जेष्यसि ॥
taṃ tvā ghṛtapratīkṣṇam agna ādityō na rōcatē | dadyur iva pra jēṣyasi ||
अनुवाद: Him thee, whose face is ghee, O Agni, shining like the sun, thou conquerest forth like a victorious battle.
Agni shines radiantly like the sun when fed with sacred ghee, granting victorious progress in spiritual endeavors.
