Rigveda Mandala 2 Sukta 19

मन्त्र 1

यः जातः एव प्रथमो मनस्वान् देवो देवान् क्रतुना पर्यभूषत् । यस्य शुष्कात् रोदसी अभ्यसेतां नृम्णस्य मह्ना तं जनो सोढ इन्द्रः ॥

yaḥ jātaḥ eva prathamo manasvān devo devān kratunā paryabhūṣat । yasya śuṣkāt rodasī abhyasetāṃ nṛmnasya mahnā taṃ jano soḍha indraḥ ॥

अनुवाद: He who, soon after birth, the first, thoughtful, divine, surpassed the gods by his power; at whose might heaven and earth tremble out of his glory—that Indra, O people, is he.

Indra's supreme supremacy and divine brilliance are established right from his birth, causing the entire cosmos to revere him.

मन्त्र 2

यः पृथ्वीं व्यथमानामदृंहत् यः पर्वतान् प्रकुपिताँ अरमणात् । यो अन्तरिक्षं विरवाम मेमे यो द्याम् अष्टभ्नत् स जनः सोढ इन्द्रः ॥

yaḥ pṛthvīṃ vyathamānāmadṛṃhat yaḥ parvatān prakupitāṁ aramaṇāt । yo antarikṣaṃ viravāma meme yo dyām aṣṭabhrat sa janaḥ soḍha indraḥ ॥

अनुवाद: He who made firm the quaking earth, who set at rest the agitated mountains, who measured out the vast atmospheric space, who propped up the heaven—that Indra, O people, is he.

Indra acts as the supreme cosmic architect who stabilizes the physical and spiritual realms, bringing order out of chaos.
