Agni Pratisthapana and Havirdhana Sukta

urū antarikṣamanvihi pṛthivyāḥ sadmasyupastha ā sīda | agnirhotā nyaṣīdatkṛtaḥ purohito'varaḥ sānasiḥ ||

Go forth into the wide atmosphere; sit down in the lap of the earth's dwelling place. Agni the Hotr priest has taken his seat, established as the foremost purohita, winning and victorious.

This mantra invokes Agni to descend and take his proper place on the sacrificial altar, bridging the earthly realm and the vast atmosphere.

yuñjānaḥ prathamaṃ manastattvāni ca vitanvate | agnirjyotirnicāyya pṛthivyā adhyābharat ||

Engaging his mind first and expanding the principles of existence, Agni perceived the supreme light and brought it forth from the earth.

Agni represents both the outer sacrificial fire and the inner flame of consciousness and focus that connects the human seeker to the divine light.
