Agni's Protective Grace and Yajna Empowerment

मन्त्र 1

अग्ने नय सुपथा राये अस्मान् विश्वानि देव वयुनानि विद्वान्। युयोध्यस्मज्जुहुराणमेनो भूयिष्ठां ते नम उक्तिं विधेम॥

agne naya supathā rāye asmān viśvāni deva vayunāni vidvān। yuyodhyasmazjuhurāṇameno bhūyiṣṭhāṃ te nama uktiṃ vidhema॥

अनुवाद: O Agni, lead us by the good path to wealth (spiritual and material), O divine one, knowing all our deeds. Remove far from us the sin of crookedness. We offer to thee our most abundant words of adoration.

The seeker prays to Agni to guide them on the righteous path of truth, eradicating crooked thoughts and actions, and establishing supreme peace.

मन्त्र 2

स सीद होता कविक्रतुः सत्यश्चित्रश्रवस्तमः। देवो देवेषु यज्ञियः॥

sa sīda hotā kavikratuḥ satyaścitraśravastamaḥ। devo deveṣu yajñiyaḥ॥

अनुवाद: He sits as the invoker, possessed of the wisdom of a seer, true, most glorious in renown, the divine one among the gods, worthy of worship.

Agni sits at the altar as the supreme priest bridging the human and divine realms through truth and brilliance.
