अग्ने व्रतपते व्रतमुपैष्यामि तत् शकेयं तन्मे राध्यताम् इदमहम् अनृतात् सत्यम् उपैमि
agne vratapate vratamupaiṣyāmi tat śakeyaṃ tanme rādhyatām idamaham anṛtāt satyam upaimi
अनुवाद: O Agni, Lord of sacred vows, I enter upon the vow; may I be able to accomplish it, may it succeed for me. I now pass from untruth to truth.
The sacrificer invokes Agni to uphold their sacred commitments and pledges to abandon falsehood in pursuit of absolute truth.
