मन्त्र 1

आपो हि ष्ठा मयोजितो तान ऊर्जे दधातन । महेर रणाय चक्षसे ॥

āpo hi ṣṭhā mayojito tān ūrje dadhātana । mahera raṇāya cakṣase ॥

अनुवाद: O Waters, you are indeed the sources of well-being; bestow upon us energy so that we may behold great bliss.

Water is recognized not just as a physical element, but as a divine medium of healing, nourishment, and spiritual vision.

मन्त्र 2

यो वः शिवतमो रसस्तस्य भाजयतेह नः । उशतीरिव मातरः ॥

yo vaḥ śivatamo rasastasya bhājayateha naḥ । uśatīriva mātaraḥ ॥

अनुवाद: Make us partakers of your most auspicious essence here, like affectionate mothers.

The hymn prays for the nurturing aspect of water, comparing its life-giving care to the unconditional love of a mother.
