अग्ने व्रतपते व्रतचरिष्यामि तच्छकेयं तन्मे राध्यतामिदमहमनृतात्सत्यमुपैमि ॥
agne vratapate vratacariṣyāmi tacchakeyaṃ tanme rādhyatāmidamahamanṛtātsatyamupaimi ॥
अनुवाद: O Agni, Lord of Vows, I shall observe the vow; may I be capable of it, may it succeed for me. From untruth I go towards truth.
The seeker appeals to Agni, the divine will, to grant the inner strength needed to keep sacred promises and spiritual vows, consciously turning away from falsehood and embracing absolute truth.
