The Consecration of the Offering and the Sacrificial Waters

मन्त्र 1

इषे त्वा ऊर्जे त्वा वायवः स्थ देवो वः सविता प्रार्पयतु श्रेष्ठतमाय कर्मणः।

iṣe tvā ūrje tvā vāyavaḥ stha devo vaḥ savitā prārpayatu śreṣṭhatamāya karmaṇaḥ.

अनुवाद: For food (sap/vigor) I take you, for strength I take you; you are the vital winds; may God Savitri prompt you to the most excellent work.

The priest touches the sacred branch, acknowledging its dual purpose to provide sustenance and energy, while invoking the divine inspirer Savitri to guide all actions toward supreme righteousness.

मन्त्र 2

आपो हि ष्ठा मयोभुवस्ता न ऊर्जे दधातन। महे रणाय चक्षसे।

āpo hi ṣṭhā mayobhuvastā na ūrje dadhātana। mahe raṇāya cakṣase।

अनुवाद: O Waters, you indeed are the sources of well-being; bestow upon us energy so that we may behold great joy.

Water is praised not just as a physical element, but as a divine medium of healing, bliss, and spiritual vision that sustains life and elevates consciousness.
