Agni Sūkta - The Radiance of the Divine Will

मन्त्र 1

युञ्जानः प्रथमं धियं तन्वन्त्सूक्तानि पूरवे। अग्निर्विश्वानि काव्या वेद होता चिकेततिः॥

yuñjānaḥ prathamaṃ dhiyaṃ tanvantsūktāni pūrave। agnirviśvāni kāvyā veda hotā ciketatiḥ॥

अनुवाद: Engaging first the thought, extending the well-spoken words for the forward-man, Agni knows all wisdom-works, the invoking priest who perceives keenly.

Agni inspires the mind and expands sacred speech for humanity. He is the omniscient priest who perceives all sacred crafts.

मन्त्र 2

होता गृहपतिर्नेता विश्वा वेद सवना होता सतः। दधाति रत्नं विधवते॥

hotā gṛhapatirnetā viśvā veda savanā hotā sataḥ। dadhāti ratnaṃ vidhavate॥

अनुवाद: The invoking priest, the lord of the house, the leader, knows all the libations; the true priest bestows treasure upon the worshipper.

Agni presides over the home of the heart as our guide and master, rewarding those who offer devotion with supreme spiritual treasures.
