kaḥ svidāvāṃściketa kaḥ pathāmiḥ panthāmagāddarśatebhiḥ pratīkaiḥ । kayoḥ śyeno na patatyantarikṣaṃ kayorjihmaṃ na patati pracetaḥ ॥

Who indeed among men knows you two, O Ashvins? Who has traversed the paths with your beautiful forms? Of which of you two does the falcon fly across the firmament? Of which of you does the crooked path not stray, O wise ones?

The Rishi wonders about the mysterious and swift nature of the Ashvins, who traverse the cosmic realms with unmatched speed and grace.

yuvāṃ ratho divo antamprayantyarvāñcameti suvṛteva vṛṣṭiḥ । yuvāṃ ratho madhumatpapratheta yamasya gāvo na yavasam vijānan ॥

Your chariot goes to the end of heaven and comes hitherward like well-turning rain. Your chariot spreads forth honeyed sweetness, like the cows of Yama knowing their pasture.

This mantra praises the movement of the divine chariot of the Ashvins, bringing divine sweetness and blessings like rain to parched earth.
