Rigveda Mandala 2 Sukta 29

मन्त्र 1

क॒द् वो॒ ब्रह्म॒ कद् वचो॒ अर्य॑मन्न् आ॒दित्या॑सो अदितये॒ शंस॑न्ति । को वो॒ मन्मानि॒ प्र थ॒ते न आ॒गाद् युष्मभ्यं॒ शर्म॑ त्रिव॒रूथम॑श्महि ॥

kad vo brahma kad vaco aryamann ādityāso aditaye śaṃsanti | ko vo manmāni pra tha te na āgād yuṣmabhyaṃ śarma trivarūthamaśmahi ||

अनुवाद: What prayer, what word do they utter to you, O Aryaman and Adityas, for Aditi? Who proclaims your thoughts so that it comes to us? May we attain your triple-defended shelter, O Adityas.

The rishi inquires how best to praise the divine Adityas to receive their ultimate protection and grace.

मन्त्र 2

अ॒द्य वो॒ देवा॒ अदि॑तये॒ तुरे॒ऽद्यादि॑त्यासो भवता॒ शम॑ंसः । यू॒यं हि नो॒ मुच॑थ॒ पाश॑न॒द्धानू॒तं नो॒ अद्या॒वथ॑ श॒स्यमा॑नान् ॥

adya vo devā aditaye ture'dyādityāso bhavatā śamaṃsaḥ | yūyaṃ hi no mucatha pāśanaddhānūtaṃ no adyāvatha śasyamānān ||

अनुवाद: Today, O gods, may you be swift for Aditi; today, O Adityas, may you be well-wishing. For you indeed release us from bound fetters, and today you protect us as we praise you.

A prayer for immediate liberation from karmic bonds and troubles through the grace of the divine Adityas.
