त्वमग्ने प्रथमो मनो हितोऽस्योतासि होता कविरस्य आशुः ।
tvam agne prathamo mano hito 'syotāsi hotā kavir asya āśuḥ ।
अनुवाद: Thou, O Agni, art the first, placed in the mind; and thou art the invoking priest, the seer, swift and agile.
Agni is positioned at the very origin of creation and within the human mind as the divine aspiration. He acts as the intermediary between humanity and the divine.
